Tommy Wilkins

Tommy Leroy Wilkins, 78, was born May 31, 1932 in Leveland, Texas. He died Friday, November 5, 2010 at his residence in Anniston, Alabama of a heart attack with his wife of 54 years by his side. Funeral service will be November 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Sherri Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Erma K. Wilkins; sons Craig and Tracie Wilkins and Dr. Chris Wilkins all of Texas, grandchildren, T.D. Adcock and Lindsey of Anniston. Scott and Jessica Wilkins, Lauren Wilkins, Colt Wilkins, T.J. Wilkins and Tyler Wilkins all of Texas, grand grandchildren Aubrey Anna Adcock, Tanner Wilkins, sisters Bonnie Kidd and Mary Catherine Mullins, brothers Clarance Pearson and Roy Lee Pearson.

Mr. Wilkins was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Callan K. Adcock, grandson, Michael Wilkins and brother –in-law, Butch Kidd.Mr. Wilkins was a native of Texas and a long time resident of Anniston. He worked as a supervisor for McWayne Industries until retirement. He was also a Staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. Mr. Wilkins was a member of Eulaton UMC.
