Funeral service for Mrs. Toni Darlene Young, 66, of Alexandria will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Saks with Danny Rodriguez officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Burial will follow in the Union Methodist cemetery in Wellington, AL.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, David and Betty Shuler. She is survived by her loving husband, Russell Young, her children, David Young, Rusty Young, and Amanda Mckee; her sisters, Sylvia Moses and Kathy Moore: and her cherished grandchildren, Mikayla Young, Madison Young, Briar Young, Leni Mckee, Luci Mckee, Ella Johnson, Aiden Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
Darlene had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found deer hunting, a passion she truly enjoyed. She also loved to go to trade day every Saturday morning, something she looked forward to and made a part of her weekly routine. She also loved cruising the neighborhood on her golf cart daily and visiting with friends and family. Darlene will be remembered for her strong spirit, and her love for her family.
Pallbearers will be Roscoe Griffith, Clay Smith, Greg Mcfry, Nick Mckee, Trevor Hill, and Briar Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Moses, T.L. Moore, and Mike Steward.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on through her family and the many moments they shared together.
