Velma Louise Holt

Anniston - Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Louise Holt, 92, of Anniston will be Saturday. September 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Dunaway officiating with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holt passed away September 26, 2013 at RMC in Anniston.

Mrs. Holt is survived by her daughter, Linda H. Cooper; son, Don Wayne Holt; sister, Vivian L. White; brother, Tommy G. Erwin; grandchildren, Wayne Cooper, Dawn Cooper Williams, Ronda Holt Bean, Donna Holt Garmon, Teresa Holt Blohm, and Jeffrey Holt; and eleven great-grandchildren

Mrs. Holt is preceded in death by her husband, David Holt; parents, Tom and Alice Erwin; and sister, Onealus Gaston

Pallbearers will be Matt Bean, Justin Morris, Lee Blohm, Kerry Holt, Rob Goodwin, and Russ Williams.

Mrs. Holt was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County, was retired after 35 years from Blue Mountain Industries. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ, and attended Ohatchee Church of Christ.
