Vicki Hawkins Hardegree

Eastaboga - Funeral services for Mrs. Vicki Hardegree, 54 of Eastaboga will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Owen and Rev Bobby McGlathery officiating with burial following at Forestlawn cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Hardegree passed away March 10, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham.

Mrs. Hardegree is survived by her husband, Doug Stanfield; daughters, Rachel Hardegree, Lyndsey (Chris) Birchfield, and Ashley (Stephen) Newell; mother, Evelyn Rovene Hawkins; sister, Linda Hawkins; brother, Gary (Leslie) Hawkins; grandchildren, Taylor Willingham, Makenzi Dunn, Coley Birchfield, Caden Birchfield, Brody Birchfield and Ashlyn Jade Newell; nephew, Chaz (Acardia) Hawkins; and special friends, Shonnie Webb and Pam Paschal.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Gunnel, Sean Clayton, Chris Birchfield, Coley Birchfield, Stephen Newell, Nakia Douglas, and Bobby McGlathery.

Mrs. Hardegree was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene Hawkins; grandparents, Sam and Delores McGlathery and J.W. and Mary Nell Hawkins; nephew, Charles Hawkins.

Mrs. Hardegree was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County, she was of the Baptist faith, she attended Saks High School and was employed with Winn-Dixie as a florist for 22 years.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
