Ms. Willie R. Segrest Medders

Graveside service will be April 2, 2022, 2 pm at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be April 2, 2022 from 12:30 until 1:30 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 542 W. 52nd St, Anniston, Alabama 36206. Rev. L. Dale Butler will be officiating.

Preceded in death by her husband(s) F. C. Segrest and M. A. Medders; parents James and Donnie Stillwell; sisters, Martha Scruggs and Syble Hodge; brothers, Roscue, James and Artie Stillwell.

Ms. Medders is survived by her daughter, Dianne Sessions; step son, Kenneth (Cathy) Medders; grandchildren; Melissa (Robbie) Wilson, Toney (Shara) Benefield; step-grandchildren, Timothy (Melinda) Medders, Brandy (Cory) Clemons, Cowan (Sandra) Wilson, Patricia (Raymond) Wyatt and Mary (Paul) Wilson-Matwijczuk; great grand children, Aaron (Denise) Vanderpool, April (Chris) Atchison, A. J. Vanderpool, Dustin (Candace) Benefield and Lauren (Josiah) Rains; step great grandchildren, Ashlee Medders, Ashton and Dayson Clemmons and many great-great grand children and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Medders, A.J. Vanderpool, Timothy Medders, Chris Atchinson, Ashton Clemmons and Dayson Clemmons.

Mrs. Medders found great joy in being a loving and devoted grandmother. She was known as "Grannie" by people of all ages. She co-operated Fat's Bait shop for numerous years, and after retirement, she handed out snow cones at Alexandria Elementary school. She will be missed by family and friends.
