Today, we gather with hearts that are shattered, yet full of love, to honor my son Gavin Micheal Kramer —who at just 21 years old left an imprint on this world that will never fade.
He loved his mama. Truly and deeply. He was proud to be my son, and I was beyond proud to be his mom. Our bond was filled with laughter, trust, and love that only a mother and son can understand. No matter how old he got, that love never changed.
One of the greatest joys of his life was being a father to his beautiful daughter, Olivia Anna Kramer. She was his pride and joy—his world. Everything he did, every dream he had, somehow led back to her. When he talked about Olivia, his whole face lit up. She carries his spirit, his love, and his legacy, and through her, a part of him will live on forever.
He was also a devoted brother. He loved his siblings fiercely and was so proud of their accomplishments. He celebrated their wins, supported them through challenges, and always had their backs. Family meant everything to him.
He loved deeply, especially his significant other, Ares. His love was genuine, loyal, and full of heart. When he cared, he cared with his whole soul.
And oh—his personality. He was very funny, effortlessly so. Goofy in the best way. Smart, charismatic, and quick-witted. He had a way of making people laugh without even trying. He could light up a room just by walking into it. But beyond the laughter, he was caring, considerate, and helpful. He noticed when someone needed support and stepped in without being asked. He had a good heart—one that wanted to do right by the people he loved.
Though his life was far too short, his impact was immense. He was a son, a father, a brother, a partner, and a friend. He was love, laughter, and light. And while our hearts ache for the future he should have had, we are forever grateful for the time we were blessed to have with him.
My son, you are loved beyond words. You are missed more than anyone could ever explain. And you will never be forgotten—because you live on in Olivia, in your family, and in every heart you touched.
Rest peacefully, my beautiful boy. Mama loves you always.
