He is fondly remembered for his love for his grandkids and cheering on the Vikings.

Jerome is survived by wife of 36 years, Amy Jo (Treichel) Chalich; children, Aaron (Crystal) Chalich, Jessica (Jordan) Chalich, Amanda (John) Chalich; brother, John (Peggy) Chalich; grandchildren, Damian Chalich, Jackson Boeke, Aria Boeke, Wyatt Boeke, David Kenmir; mother-in-law, Della Treichel; brothers-in-law, Todd Treichel, Troy (Shandra) Treichel, Tony (Kolleen) Treichel; sisters-in-law, Angie (Pat) Walter, Tammy (Shawn) Simonette; nieces and nephews, Bob Chalich, Cara (Jacob) Chalich, Katharine (Charles) Chalich-Lindberg, TJ Treichel, Andrew Treichel; best friends, Mike Sutton and Jerry Heil; and many other family and friends.
