LaVerne Day

She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Day; parents, Leo and Laura Raymond; brothers, Leroy, Marcellous, Adelord, Cletus, Sylvester; and sisters, Virginia, Rosemary, Margaret, Rowden.

LaVerne is survived by daughters, Patricia (Robert) Houghtaling, Michelle Johnson, Teresa Day; sons, James Day, John Day, Christopher Day; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, located at 525 Jackson St, Anoka, MN, 55303, on January 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at the same location, beginning at 11:00 am.

Pallbearers will include John Day, James Day, Chris Day, Andy Anderson, Mike Day, and Erik Day.

LaVerne Day will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Anoka, MN.
