Lowell James Shaffer

He was born on March 27, 1934 in Cardington, Ohio, son of Paul James Shaffer and Stella Mae (Green) Shaffer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dale Shaffer.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Shaffer; two sons, Joel (Kathy) Shaffer and Mark Shaffer; two grandchildren Rebecca (David) Anderson and Jacob (Nicole) Shaffer.

Lowell married Geraldine Mae Leider on April 26, 1958. Lowell attended school in Cardington, Ohio. He retired from working for the State of Minnesota. He enjoyed watching his Minnesota Gophers.He also served in the United States Army. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday at

Gearhart Funeral Home,

552 East River Road,

Anoka, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday at

Eternal Hope Lutheran Church,

10508 Douglas Drive North,

Brooklyn Park, MN.

Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Eternal Hope Lutheran OSOM Fund.
