Barbara Ann McDonald

Barbara Ann McDonald, 74 of Umatilla, FL went home to be with her Lord on August 3, 2018. She was born on June 6, 1944 in Tibbs, Mississippi. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandma and friend. She had a loving heart, a bright smile and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She loved playing board games with her grandchildren, cooking and reading. As her family grew, she accepted all and made them feel as they were always a part of the family. Barbara was a devoted Christian and a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, John; her daughter, Gloria McGarvey and her husband Michael; her son, David McDonald and his wife Leah; her sister, Dorothy Matthews; her brothers: Bobby McCarver, Billy McCarver and Jimmy McCarver and by her beloved grandchildren: Laura, Sean, Dalton, Olivia, Aaron, Matthew and Conner.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 7 from 5 – 7 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Apopka. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 8 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka.
