David Eugene Wright Jr.

Age 43, of Apopka, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2014. He was the son of the late David E. Wright Sr. and Evelyn Virginia Davis Wright. David was born on November 13, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland at St. Agnes Hospital. He attended school from elementary to High School in Howard County, Maryland. He graduated in 1988 from Wilde Lake High School where he played varsity football. He also attended Georgetown University. David is survived by his partner of twelve years, Natasha Danzy and their son Josiah Wright; two sisters, Denyse Wright, Dawn E. Bouyer (Edwin); four brothers, James Wright (Jean), Gerald, Darryl and Alan Wallace. Also survived by his number one nephew Jarmone W. Johnson (Michelle); three great nephews Julian, Brandon and Dade; step-mother, Portia Wright; and great-aunt, Helen Neal. There are still a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he is survived by. His great nephew TaVonte M. Johnson preceded him in death in 1999. There will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Florida at the park by the Mennello Museum of American Art. There will be a celebration of his life in Maryland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations for the educational fund for Josiah Wright.
