Knowing George since we were in 9th grade at PK Yonge in Gainesville and  graduating from PK in 1958 and then attending the university of Florida.
He was always very popular in school always very intelligent. I remember him playing in the band. We connected later on during our get together for PK Yonge. 
He was always very smart, loved his motorcycles, and was a success and running shop in Gainesville earlier on to the Orlando area, very successful in his career that he retired from. Always very friendly and a fun person to be around. He will be missed.

Wow, my heart weighs very heavy for a man that was an inspiration a teacher Mentor and all-around great human being. George was always there when you called I watched him marry my mother and years down the road. I was also blessed to have him marry me. I am at a loss for words, and I know mom will be too 40 years of friendship will never be forgotten ride in peace, my friend.

RIP my friend.  It was great working closely with you over the last 36 years while becoming good friends in the process.  I have also enjoyed our periodic lunches during the past couple of  years since we both retired just to catch up and stay in touch.  Long time friends like that are hard to find and even harder to keep.  Thank you for being one of those friends.

Now we finally know what the "O" stands for.   A lot of your friends called you G O, me included.  A lot of great memories at Triumph City when I worked for you with Herbie busy painting.  Larry and Kurt selling bikes up front and the smell of a motorcycle shop.  Seeing you and other old motorcycle friends on New Year's day gatherings at Woody and Linda's for chili gave us a chance to talk and catch up on what projects we might be working on . Too many memories to list.  
Our condolence's go out to the family.  George will be missed.
