John Harold Donohue, 72 of Sorrento, FL passed away on Feb. 16, 2018. He was born in Sanford, FL on Sept. 28, 1946. He retired as a Plumber/Engineer from Orlando Regional Medical Center in 2016 after 43 years of service. John was a volunteer with the Union Park Fire Department from 1971 to 1977. He even owned a 1970 American LaFrance fire truck that he restored and used in parades. He was a member of the Florida Antique Bucket Brigade and the Florida Chapter of SPAAMFAA. John is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Donohue; his 3 children: John Paul Donohue and his wife Michelle; Rebecca Cranston and her husband Michael and Lindee Velez; his brother, Raymond Donohue; his 9 grandchildren: Annabelle, Joshua, Matthew, Trevor, Emily, Bre Ella, Carter, Brandon and Alex; 2 great grandsons Jayden and Mason; and his friend of 58 years Phil Finlay.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb 23 from 10 – 11 AM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Apopka, FL. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel.
