

Born on August 6, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John had a successful lifelong career in the petroleum equipment industry, a deep appreciation for all things Chevrolet and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Olive; his older sister, Karen; and his younger brother, Peter.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 45 years, Johanna; his youngest sister, Ellie; his sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Michael Sr.; his nephews, Michael Jr. and Adam; his nieces, Chrissy and Jessica; and great-nieces, Sarah, Hailey G, Haley, and Karly.
John was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend. His life was defined by hard work, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.
His love was steady, his presence comforting, and his guidance invaluable. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A service to celebrate John’s life will be held on April 16, 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 834 South Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, Florida 32703. The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. John will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL on April 18th, 2026, at noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
