

Born on January 31, 1934, in Swampscott, Massachusetts, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Isobel (Mabel) Calder MacKinnon and the late John Thomas MacKinnon.
Mary was a dedicated teacher who touched the lives of countless students throughout her career. As the wife of a Coast Guard officer, she embraced the challenges of frequent relocations, sharing her passion for education in numerous cities and states. Her love for music was evident in her active participation in church choirs wherever she resided. Mary's adventurous spirit and joyful approach to life brought light and laughter to those around her.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and John MacKinnon, and her brother, John C. MacKinnon.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James L. Haas; her four children, Maura Warfield (Craig K. Jr.), James M. Haas (Margret Ann), Heather Kreider (Brett), Chris Haas (Susan); nine grandchildren, Seanne Warfield Hammonds (Michael), Craig K. Warfield, III, Shea Warfield McDonnell (Chris), Jacklyn Warfield Silvis (Rhiley), Gracie Haas, Amelia Haas, Ian Kreider, David Kreider (Rowan), Gabriel Kreider; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Hammonds, Marshall Hammonds and Kennedy McDonnell, along with a multitude of friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held in the chapel at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando
