

Robert Joseph Hanley, 44, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on March 17, 2024. Bobby was born in Orlando, Florida, April 18, 1979 and grew up in Mount Dora. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked for Veritas Software for 26 years. He was a dedicated volunteer counselor at the Muscular Dystrophy Association camp for children for 20 years.
Bobby was passionate about many things, and his zest for life was infectious. He was a true music enthusiast, and his favorite place to be was at concerts, on the dance floor, or with his dog, Lulu.
His legacy will live on through the relationships he created with family and friends, the music he loved, the dances he shared, and the joy he brought to so many. He will be forever remembered and dearly missed. May he rest in peace.
Surviving family members: mother, Doris Hanley, sisters, Cathy Stankiewicz (Dave) and Christen Halliday (Chris). Twin brother, Patrick Hanley (Ashley). Partner, Cristina Droz Lopez and her sons, Jake, Ty, and Dylan. Nieces and nephews: Alexandra (Jared), Zachary (Sierra), Abigail, Andrew, Michael, Jacob, James, William, Denver.
Pre-deceased: father, Richard Hanley and brother, Anthony Hanley.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 7, 2024, 1-3 pm, at Tuffy’s Music Box, 200 Myrtle Avenue, Sanford.
The family graciously requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
