

Willard “Butch” Jackson passed away on July 12th 2023. Born April 2, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Inge L. Mullins and Moses C. Jackson. Graduate of Junction City High School in Junction City, Kansas and Kansas Wesleyan University, Butch was a devoted father and avid fisherman, his lifelong favorite weekend activity. Well known for his love of crappie fishing and a superfan of the Kansas City Chiefs NFL football team.
Butch married Lizbeth Colon Lopez on October 30, 1993 in Junction City, Kansas. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for Foot Locker in Junction City, KS and Eckard Drugs in Orlando, FL for many years, and adopted the life of a security guard for Securitas Security Services later in his retirement years. Butch was well known to have the ”gift of gab” and could strike up a conversation with literally anyone in the room.
He is survived by his wife Lizbeth, sisters Lois Carr, Charlotte Oliver and brother Ricky Jackson and 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his children Anitra Robinson, Willard Jackson Jr., and Moses Jackson; his step children Abigail Juarez and Michael Ramirez; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral home in Apopka, FL on July 15, 2023. Pastor Kevin Green will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 601 N. Park Ave, Apopka, FL 32712.
