Margaret Robertson Uhl

March 14, 1924 – October 26, 2011

Born in California, Peggy was a resident of Gardena, Fort Bragg and McKinleyville. As an active member in her community, she volunteered for the Red Cross and Head Start. She was a Girl Scout leader, a PTA officer and a playground supervisor. She liked playing Bridge, backpacking, hiking, camping and also loved to watch the birds, and always made sure the feeders were full. Peggy was an avid knitter, belonging to three knitting groups in the Fort Bragg area, and kept her whole family supplied with knitted clothing.

Peggy was a generous, caring woman who was loved by all who knew her.

Peggy is survived by her loving family: Walter Uhl, her husband of 69 years, her children: Lynn and Bruce Uhl, grandchildren:Nyla Smith, Ilona Uhl, Ian and Logan Uhl, great-grandchildren: Tyler Roediger, Christina Cady and Nick and Randy Howard, Great-great grandchildren: Riley and Alexis Cady and her nephew Robert Ashmore.
