Dorothy Sykes Coleman, age 84, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. She was the widow of Bill Coleman of High Point who passed away in 1989. Dorothy will always be remembered as a wonderful cook, specifically breakfast with biscuits.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Melton of Stone Mountain, GA and Susan Coleman of Greensboro; sons, Billy Coleman of Hickory and Tim Coleman of High Point; brother, Clyde Sykes of Ramseur; nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm at Floral Gardens Cemetery in High Point.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 till 1:30 at Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Randolph County: 416 Vision Dr. Asheboro, NC 27203
