James was fond of hunting and fishing. He loved Ford trucks and his Siberian huskies, Lady and LuLu; but his greatest love was that for his daughter and grandbabies, who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his father, James was also preceded in death by his grandfather. Survivors include his loving girlfriend of 21 years, Brenda Pastorick; daughter Kayla Hodge (Brandon Lawson); mother, Wanda Harden; eight grandchildren, Alliyah, Rileey, Bentley, Nataleigh, Alex, Dylan, Jacob and Tyler; two sisters, Jennifer and Heather; and three brothers, David, Eugene and Stanley.
A Celebration of James’ life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 6:00 PM at Sechrest Funeral Service of Archdale.
