Margaret Louise (Wray) Cox

Margaret was a very loving and giving mom and grandmother. She had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed.

Margaret is survived by; daughter Regina Templeton; grandchildren Saskia Dawn Hines, Johnny Newsome and PFC Alexander Templeton; great grandchildren Saskia Grace Hines, Grayson Newsome, Nathaniel Newsome and Cole Newsome; and sister Sarah Luther.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters Bill Wray, Herman Wray, Mazel Wray, Herbert Wray Jr., Bertha Parker, Peggy Saunders, Ruby Canada and Richard Wray; son Donald Kemp Newsom; and her husband Roy Cox.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Margaret’s name to Liberty Baptist Church, 225 Liberty Ave, Thomasville, NC 27360; 336-472-1328 and The Graybrier Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 116 Lane Dr., Trinity, NC 27370; 336-431-8888.

A funeral service for Margaret will take place on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at 12pm at Liberty Baptist Church, Thomasville, NC, Pastor David L. Bowman officiating. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to services at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial will follow funeral services at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
