Monty Ray Farmer, 76, of High Point, NC passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Monty was born on July 1, 1949, in Cooper, WV, son of the late James W. and Dorothy Woods Farmer. He was a proud Veteran serving in the United States Navy, enjoyed watching westerns and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife Mary Farmer, sons, Terry Farmer (Cathy) and George Farmer; brothers Jeffrey Farmer (Nina), Wayne Farmer (Donna), Timmy Farmer, sister Debra Dunsford (Buddy), three grandchildren Amanda Briggs, Brittany Phillips (Michael), Christopher Farmer (Cinda), eight great-grandchildren Aubry Phillips, Eva Phillips, Michael Phillips Jr., Jason Farmer, Lilly Farmer, Shelby, Gabriel and Bubba.
