Odis Truman Lowder Sr.

Mr. Lowder was born April 21, 1945 to Herman Ford Lowder, Sr. and Rachel Russell Lowder. He was a disabled US Army veteran of the Vietnam War with the rank of Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carolyn, two sons, Truman Andrew Lowder and Scotty Lowder, a granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Lowder, a brother, Joseph Darrell Lowder, and a step-daughter, Angela Dawn Turner.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lewis (Rodney) of Sophia, Tina McDowell (Howard Lee) of Archdale, two sons, Trenton “Tony” Lowder (Dixie Davis) of Thomasville and O.T. Lowder, Jr. (Michelle) of Roanoke, Virginia. Also surviving are a Step-daughter, Lisa Perkins, Grandchildren, Mitchell Wade of Sophia, Joey Wade of Asheboro, Andrew Lowder of Archdale, and T. J. Lowder , Jr. of Thomasville, Hailey Lowder, Heather Perkins, Jamie Turner and Cody Turner all of Roanoke, Virginia; three great- grandchildren: Adam Passmore, Troy Craine and Logan Taylor of Thomasville and five step-great grandchildren: Jaylen Carper, Noah Carper, Arianna Carper, Nevayah Nicely, and Peyton Turner of Roanoke, Va.

Mr. Lowder has five brothers and sisters surviving: Sylvia Blakely (Bill) of Thomasville, Herby Lowder, Jr. (Kathy) of Denton, Randy Lowder (Helen) of Trinity, Polly Johnson of Thomasville, and Johnny Lowder (Francis) of Trinity.
