Robert Fowell Hill

Mr. Hill was the son of the late Sydney Thomas Hill and Lena Marie Folwell Hill. He was married to Antilee Dinkins in 1945. She precedes him in death on November 18, 2009.

Mr. Hill was an Army/Air Force Veteran and served in World War II. He recently participated in the Honor Flight for World War II veterans held in Washington, DC. He was a member of the Eight Air Force regiment and member of the Historical Society.

Mr. Hill is survived by sons, Robert Folwell Hill, Jr. and wife Linda Balfour of Mebane, NC; James William “Jimmy” Hill and wife Louise of Sophia, NC; Edward Gene “Eddie” Hill and wife Vickie of Woodleaf, NC; Donald Reed “Don” Hill (deceased March 9, 1970); Andrew Douglas “Andy” Hill and wife Alma of Trinity, NC. Sisters, Mary Roberta Hill Trogden and husband Elwood; Helen Marie Hill Hauser and husband Richard. One brother (predeceased) Thomas William “Tom” Hill and wife Thelma.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Randolph County in honor of Mr. Hill.

Visitation for Mr. Hill will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Sechrest Funeral Home with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery.
