Sandra Hargrave Paul

Sandra Hargrave Paul, age 90, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away on April 13, 2026. Born October 7, 1935, in Rochester, New York, Sandra was a daughter of the late Richard Hargrave and Iva Elizabeth Terbush Hargrave.

After graduating from high school, Sandra married the love of her life, Richard Leonard Paul, on July 1, 1961.Together they raised two sons, Scott Richard Egan and James Curtis Paul in Sanborn, NY. Once Richard and Sandra retired, they moved to Fort Mill, SC in 1989.

Sandra made family her priority. When Scott and James were born, Sandra devoted herself wholeheartedly to caring for her home and those she loved, serving as a stay-at-home mother who ensured her family was always tended to with a gentle steadiness and a kind heart.

Sandra was a faithful member of Unity Presbyterian Church of Fort Mills, SC, before her health declined, and her devotion was reflected in the quiet constancy with which she lived her life.

Preceding Sandra in death are her parents, Richard and Iva Hargrave; her husband, Richard Leonard Paul; one son, Scott Paul; and her sister, June Rose Hargrave.

Those left to cherish Sandra’s memory include her son, James Curtis Paul; her two grandchildren, Brandon Taylor and Brooke Ashley Paul; her nephew, Rick Harter, her two-family friends, Adell Wasiewicz and Diana Cooper, and her family at Unity Presbyterian Church.

The family is under the care of Advantage Funerals and Cremations of Archdale, NC.
