Susan Denise Richardson

Susan Denise Stevens Richardson, 66, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Tucker Hospice House after a lengthy illness.

Susan was born in High Point, June 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert Louis Stevens and Virginia Sue Peace Stevens. Susan will be fondly remembered for her fun, loving authentic personality. She was loved by all who knew her. Susan worked her entire life in food management and she was an accomplished baker and loved pets. Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Craig Mitchell Stevens.

Surviving is her long time partner, Brian Spruill; daughter, Tara Stevens; grandsons, Zachary Childress and Zaine Bryant; a sister, Robin Yates and her husband Bill, two brothers, Tim Stevens and his wife Cathy and Jamey Stevens, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to any animal rescue organization.
