Albert "Bud" Collins was born on March 23, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Albert and Ida (nee Bennett) Collins. He passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018.
Bud worked as a Printing and Project Specialist for Federal Life Insurance Company retiring in 1995 after 42 years of service.
He was a member of The Lakeview Community Church and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Bud is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann Collins (nee Slezak); his nephew James Lund and niece Sharon (Merlyn) Swanson, several other nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings John (Violet) Collins, Ruth (late Fred) Hampel and Rachel (late Harvey) Lund.
Visitation is Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9:30-11:30 am., immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
