Albert J. Klein

of Palatine 

Albert J. Klein was born on August 25, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to Frederick and Alice (nee Grundy) Klein. He died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Advantara of Long Grove, Illinois. 

He worked as a machinist for many years at Signode Corporation, and enjoyed doing magic for people. He was a great person, and was loved by all.  

Albert is survived by his son, James (Kathy) Klein; son-in-law, Jurgen Reiprich; grandchildren, Jennifer Reiprich, Kristie M. (Chris) Hein, and Sara (Corbin) Mettler, Daniel (Cassandra) Lettenberger-Klein, David, and Laura; great-grandchildren, Kathwren Reiprich, Samantha and Emily Klein, and Sophie Mae Hein; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (nee Baldino) Klein; daughter, Kathleen M. Reiprich; brothers, William and John Klein; and his parents. 

Memorial visitation Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Mass, 10:00 am at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, Illinois.  Interment Private.
