Alice Mae Clifford

She was a 1947 graduate of St. Sebastian High School and attended DePaul University Secretarial School.

Alice was a parishioner of St. Pascal’s in Chicago for many years. She was very involved with St. Pascal school activities, as a Girl Scout leader and member of the Home School Association and School Board.

She was an Administrative Assistant for Byczek Enterprises and retired in 2000.

Alice was an active member of the Luther Village Community from 2013 till 2019. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, University of Notre Dame and Penn State football.

Alice also enjoyed golf and traveling.

Alice was married for 35 years to the late John B. Clifford; loving mother of Susan (Robert) Flood, Nancy (Daniel) Loud, Jean (Brian) Flood, John (Kelly Burke) Clifford and the late Ann (late Thomas) Scearce and her infant daughter, the late Geralyn; cherished grandmother of Maureen (Jamie) Callero, Meghan (Matthew) Callero, Patrick (Eileen) Flood, Michael (Katie) Flood, Bridget (William) Menges, Robert (fiancé Sarah Malapanes) Flood, Eileen (Johnathan) Stringfellow, Kevin (Holly) Loud, Daniel (Shannon) Loud, Patrice (Shane) Frederick, Colleen Loud, Caitlin and Claire Flood, Sean and Liam Clifford and Allison, Thomas and Ryan Scearce; great-grandmother of 25; dear sister of Arlene (late Thomas) Sullivan and the late Martin Corrigan and James Corrigan; fond sister-in-law of James (late Marianne) Clifford and the late Patrick (late Shirley) Clifford, William (late Patricia, Alice’s best friend) Clifford and Mary Clifford and adored aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Family and friends will gather on Monday, July 11 at 9:45 AM at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
