Anna Frances Hummel

Anna Frances Hummel was born on November 14, 1937, in Chicago to Frank and Rose (nee Cacioppo) Caruso. She died Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Northlake.

Mrs. Hummel worked for various vending machine companies in Chicago and Elk Grove for over 10 years. Then, as a Production Worker for Hydraforce in Lincolnshire for 8 years. Anna enjoyed arts and crafts, playing bingo and going to the casinos. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and was loved by all.

Anna is survived by her siblings, Mary (late Martin) Mattes, Rosie Hopper, and Josephine (late Joseph) Juhas; and many nieces and nephews; step-children, Paul (Lauren) Hummel, Susan (Don) Ruhl, John (Dee) Hummel and Mary (late Brian) Nunemaker; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Nicholas Hummel; her parents: siblings, Felix Caruso, Carl (late Diane) Caruso, Leona (late Christian) Thudium, and Ignatius Caruso.

Visitation Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 11:30 am until the 1:30 pm Prayer Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
