Annette C. Fitzgibbons was born on March 12, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois to John and Mary (nee Fiduccia) Cimino. She died Friday, August 9, 2019, at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Mrs. Fitzgibbons worked as a school clerk for the Chicago Public Schools (Ryerson School) in Chicago for 35 years. Prior to that, she was a community outreach worker on the west side of Chicago. She resided in Chicago until her retirement, moving to Schaumburg and the northwest suburban area in 1992.

Annette is survived by her children Michael (partner Gloria) Fitzgibbons, Marianne (John) Frederick and Nancy (Patrick) D'Andrea; her grandchildren John, Adam (Carmen), Daniel, Laura (Austin), Elyse (Evan) and Susan (Oliver); her great-grandchildren Dillon and Jack; her brother John (JoAnne) Cimino; special loves Johnny (Sam) and Matthew Cimino; and her dear friend and partner Carmen Tumino. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her spouse John "Jack" Fitzgibbons, her parents as well as her sister, Edda Cimino.

Memorial Visitation Monday, August 12, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, from 9:30 am until time of Memorial Service at 10:30 am at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
