Barbara Marie Altobelli passed away on March 1, 2024 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She was born on November 19, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Onofrio and Rose Suranno.
She is survived by her son Peter Michael (Judi) Spizzirri and her grandchildren Alison (Gregg) Denton and Dr. Rebecca Marie Spizzirri.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Altobelli; her parents and her brother Michael (Marie) Surrano.
A visitation will take place from 9:00am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington heights, IL 60004. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd. Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. For those unable to attend the Mass, a live stream can be viewed by clicking the link in “Events” below.
