Of PalatineByron W. Skinner was born on September 12, 1991 in Des Plaines to Byron and Sandi (nee Furlong) Skinner. He died suddenly at home, of natural causes, Friday, October 24, 2014 in Palatine.Byron was a graduate of Palatine High School and an accomplished athlete. He pitched proudly for his high school as a four year varsity starter and Division I II colleges, as well as achieving all conference status and playing for Under Armour"s All American team. He loved his family, his friends and the Chicago Blackhawks and Sox.Byron is survived by his parents, Byron E. and Sandi Skinner; his sister, Karolyn E. (Josh) Fulton; his nephews, Garret and Wyatt Fulton; his uncles, William (Carolyn) Furlong, Ken (Doreen) Skinner, Gregory Skinner; his aunt, Judith (Jim) Glavas; his girlfriend, Megan Spencer; and his sheltie, Max.Visitation from 3pm until 9pm, Monday, October 27, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said, 9:15am, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova, 1201 E.
