Carol J. Hopke

Carol found happiness at the family lake house in Wisconsin, a place that became synonymous with cherished memories and laughter-filled summer evenings. Her love for games was well-known among her circle of friends. She was an accomplished card player and enjoyed bowling as well. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Jean (Mike Flinn) Hopke, Sandy (Dave) Robertson, Karen Schuster; grandchildren, George (Dara) Schuster III, Jason Paz, Chris (Lori) Paz, Jackie (Bo) Logan, Brett (Beth) DeVos; David (Kelcey) Robertson; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jessie MacDonald; sister in law, Collette MacDonald; and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Hopke; her parents; her brother, Robert MacDonald; and son in law, George Schuster, Jr.

Any memorial donations under her name may be made out to a charity of your choice.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 10:45 AM in the chapel at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
