Carol A. Klein

Carol A. Klein, born December 18, 1932, in Skokie, Illinois to the late Valentine and Helen (nee Schneider) Krier, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and treasured caregivers on January 19, 2025, in Arlington Heights Illinois.

Loving Wife of the late Thomas M Klein; devoted Mother to Joseph (Leanne), Margaret (Jeffery) Smith, Michael (Nancy), Lawrence (Linda), Jim (Diana), and Suzanne (Chris) Danielson; dear Grandmother to Grace, Ryan, Kimberly, Kevin, Timothy, Andrew, Adam, Evan, Daniel, Benjamin, Matthew, Joshua, and William; cherished Great-Grandmother to Ella, Finley, Colin, Addison, Emmy, and Harper. She was a beloved Spouse, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother friend, and neighbor to many, Carol walked with Christ and relied on her faith to navigate the demanding life of a full-time homemaker. In later years she continuing her calling to serve by preparing meals, providing nourishment and good humor to countless students at the school districts where she lived. Carol continued to grow in her faith and love of the Lord through countless heartfelt prayers until the very end.

Visitation for Carol will be on Monday, January 27 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Tuesday, January 28 from 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL.

A funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 28 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Church 2515 W Palatine Rd, Inverness, IL followed by a prayer service at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, 1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Carol.
