Carolyn Eugenia Morrissey

Of Arlington Heights

Carolyn Morrissey was born May 31, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Adalph Henry Dickel and Anna Dickel. She died after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer on August 5, 2021 in the home of her friend in Grafton, Wisconsin surrounded by her family and friends. Carolyn enjoyed a long life filled with world travel, card games, great friends, reality TV and humor. People always wanted to be around Carolyn, her beauty, charm and grace was magnetic. Her generosity impacted hundreds of lives throughout the world in her lifetime.

Carolyn is survived by her Cheeto, chocolate loving daughter and partner in crime, Lola (Havenese Puppy), 9 Nieces and Nephews, Sister-in-law Mary Morrissey of Illinois, Mary Morrissey of Cork Ireland and Joan Morrissey of Adare, Ireland.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Michael Morrissey in 2015.

Nobody will feel Carolyn's loss more than the Home Shopping Network. People local to Arlington Heights will enjoy Spice Drops being readily available at Jewel and Chocolate back in stock at Aldi. She had a love-hate relationship with white wine, Old Fashions and Costco's Egg Nog. After 5 long years, Alexa finally has a day off. Her smile and humor will be missed by all.

Visitation Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 10:00 am until Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
