Catherine "Kay" MarsOf Arlington HeightsCatherine "Kay" Mars was born on January 31, 1939 in Chicago to Bernard and Mary (nee Monistere) Pecoraro. She died Monday, November 21, 2016 in Glenview.Kay worked as a task leader for Northrop Grumman in Rolling Meadows. Kay enjoyed bingo and playing cards with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandsons. Catherine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward, whom she married January 30, 1959 in Chicago; daughters, Cindy (Robert) Streske, Trisha Novack; grandchildren, Eric (Jackie) Streske, James J. Novack, ll, Nathan Novack and Reed Mars Streske; siblings, Janice (Jeff) Messina, Antionette (Luke) Peco and Marion (Mary) Pecoraro; sister-in-law, Charlotte Pecoraro; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Frank Pecoraro and Marie Pecoraro. Visitation Friday, November 25, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayer Service 10:00 am, Saturday, November 26, 2016 the funeral home.
