Cecilia PruynOf WheelingCecilia Pruyn was born on April 17, 1917 in Niles to Frank and Wanda (nee Lamczyk) Moravec. She died Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Elwood, Indiana.Cecilia was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Wheeling. She was a caregiver to many relatives and was involved in the Ministry of Care. Cecilia prayed several Novenas faithfully every morning. She loved to do crossword puzzles and play bingo. Cecilia loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all. Cecilia is survived by her daughters, Barbara (John) Chandler and Judith Carey; siblings, Isabelle Drake Josephine Ryan, Florence O'Neill and Donald (Ruth) Moravec; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Stanley; grandson Jeffrey Carey; her parents; siblings, Frank, Mary, Edward, Mathilda "Tillie" and Ronald. Celebration of Life Mass 10:00 am, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 181 W. Dundee Rd., Wheeling, IL. Interment is private.
