Celine Marie Carmody

Celine M. Carmody was born on February 4, 1930 in Chicago to Joseph and Catherine (nee Strass) Lang. She died Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Elk Grove Village.

Celine was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was loved by all.

Celine is survived by her children, Mary Anne (Don) Bolle, Susan Carmody, Laurence (Katie) Carmody, Ron (Leigh) Carmody, Michael (Leanne) Carmody and Kathleen Carmody; grandchildren, Thomas Bolle, Debra Hansberry, Lisa Bolle, Christopher Carmody, Matthew Carmody, Jeffrey Carmody, Jordan Carmody, Justin Carmody, Adam Carmody and Allison Carmody; sisters, Bernice (the late Del) Kotowski and Elaine (Rich) Kowall; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 9:15 am, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the funeral home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
