Cynthia B. Brinkley

Cynthia B. Brinkley was born on January 9, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia to Franklin Holmes and Frances (nee Cole) Brinkley. She died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Ms. Brinkley had a long successful career in banking and Human Resource/Organizational Development. She was VP of Human Resources with Bank and Trust of Arlington Heights, VP of Training and Development with NBD Bank, Director of Organizational Development with Geneer Corp. and VP of Human Resources and Organizational Development with Celergo, LLC.

Cynthia graduated from Saint Theresa Girls Academy High School in Kansas City, Missouri and went on to achieve her Bachelors Degree in Business and Organizational Development from DePaul University.

Her interests and hobbies included international travel. She had phenomenal talent with knitting and cross stitching where she found much joy in gifting her projects to her friends and family members.

Cynthia is survived by her siblings Deborah Hiatt, Jim (Becky) Brinkley, Denise Talbot, Michele (David) Jolly and Stephanie (Daniel) Parkison; her many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews; she is also survived by her dear friend Maureen McIntyre and Maureen’s children including Timothy Henehan (God son).

She was preceded in death by her spouse, her parents as well as her sister Karen Scudder.
