

Cynthia Ann Hower, 68, was born on September 19, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur Jr. and Phyllis (Burk) Hower. She passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024. A beloved aunt with a kind heart and love of friends, family, and horses.
“Cyndi” was a Chicagoland native her whole life, spending her time in the suburb of Arlington Heights where she lived with her father, sister and nephews, as well as finding independence and community in Des Plaines in her later years. She held a variety of jobs but found a passion in caregiving. She loved country music, square-dancing, book club, dog-sitting and was a devout member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church.
Cyndi is survived by her nephews, Matthew and Michael Hausler and her nieces, Kara and Emily Hunt. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Hausler (Hower) and Deborah “Debbie” Davis (Hower); and her parents Arthur Lawrence Jr and Phyllis Hower (Burk).
She will be in our thoughts, but joined in Heaven with friends and family.
Memorial Services will be held on June 18th from 10 – 12, viewing at 10am, service at 11am, at Our Saviours Lutheran Church, 1234 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
