Dale E. Swanson

We bid farewell to Dale E. Swanson of Arlington Heights, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 10, 2026 at the age of 67. A beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend.

Though Dale may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the remembrance of his gentle kindness, the light of his enduring love, the contagious laughter shared, the warmth wisdom imparted, and the moments of quiet reflection in his presence.

Born on February 24, 1959 in Chicago, IL, he was the cherished son of Marilyn (née Freese) and Edward Swanson. A Bradley University (Peoria, Illinois) alumnus, Dale built a distinguished career as President of Daxel Inc., where he represented Original Equipment Manufacturers and consulted Fortune 500 companies.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marilyn and Edward Swanson. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Connie “Kitty” Swanson (née Strong); his beloved children, Parker, Foster, Sullivan, Saylor and Hudson; his dear siblings, Gary(Antoinette) Swanson, Carol Swanson and Daniel (Lisa) Swanson; his best friend and godfather to his children, Thomas Thelin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.

To honor Dale’s memory, embrace each moment of everyday. Breathe deeper, laugh harder, sing louder, hug tighter and love with all your heart.
