Daniel J. Dalicandro was born on May 10, 1953 in Chicago to Daniel and Marie (nee Iovino) Dalicandro. He passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 in Chicago.Dan was a proud member of many local chapters of the Truck Drivers Union. He was president of his condo associations. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and a true Floridian at heart.Daniel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna (nee Kuesis); his daughters, Denise (Joe Bianca) Dalicandro and Debra Dalicandro; his son, Daniel (Marta) Dalicandro; his grandchildren, Dominick Dalicandro, Daniel Dalicandro, Tommy Bianca and Madison Dalicandro; his brothers, Lawrence (Joyce) Dalicandro, Michael (Mary) Dalicandro and James (Eileen) Dalicandro; his mother-in-law, Thelma Kuesis; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by father.Visitation from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 8:00 pm Friday, May 2, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment private.
