Thinking of you, DJ, on this day and always as we navigate through life, day by day. Making new memories with family as we move on is made better for your being a part of it. To my great-niece, Lauren and her fiance', DJ, I only just learned of your loss. I am so sorry. I never met your dad but I heard wonderful things about him over the years and I know he raised a good son. I am shocked and so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I can't believe it.  He was the nicest person; so kind and warm.  I loved chatting with him in the hallway or parking lot where we worked.   He is so generous with his time and helped me whenever I asked for help.

I am going to miss his  smiling face and chipper personality.  He always put a smile on my face (even when we were complaining about our businesses and the insurance companies!)  My heart goes out to his family, sons, staff and coworkers, and all his clients. 

Dave will be missed but never forgotten!

I met Dave at Dover Straits.  My husband and I were sitting at the bar and Dave sat next to me.  My husband handed me some money for drinks  and left for a few minutes.    I hear this voice (which was Dave) and he said, Wow, how does that work?  He gives you money and leaves.  Wish I could do that.  He asked me what I did and I told him that I was in Insurance but had been laid off and looking for a job.    We talked for a minute and he told me that he was looking for someone.  
He invited me to call him for an interview and it was the beginning of my relationship with the greatest boss and one of the best friends I have ever known.  I will always remember him and I am sorry for the family's loss. 


The first time I ever talked to Dave on the phone I pictured him as a short bald guy.Then the first time I met him I thought oh my goodness it’s Al Pachino he became one of my best friends always was there when you needed him and we always had a fantastic time talking and seeing each other we were planning to get together soon I guess we’ll plan it next time we see each other in heaven..Our hearts and prayers go out to Dave’s Family and Pattie and all his friends We Love You Brother The Godfather of Auto Repair Ken’s Auto Ken & Kim and Family 

To the Thomas family, 

My deepest condolences to Dave’s passing. I was a client of Dave’s and he always was so upbeat and helpful. He had a zest for life and was always positive. I just spoke to him this past week and he quickly took care  of my insurance needs. We always had a nice conversation, and a good laugh about life! 

His positiveness and love for life will be missed!

I've know David since we were teenagers and was lucky enough to have had our friendship last all these yrs. I will miss hearing you say Hey kiddo, how's things going and then catching up on each other's lives on our yearly phone calls. You had the best laugh and always made me laugh. I hated dealing with the insurance crap but talking and catching up with you made it worth wild. My condolences to the family , he was a wonderful man , friend and the best insurance agent ever. Always had to make sure when we were taking a vacation that the destination must have clear crystal blue ocean water!💙 Even though he HATED going out to sea and didn't know how to swim lol💙

Family isn't just by blood.. it's by having a pure love for one another and a strong bond that will always be shown by actions. 

Love you Mr Thomas. Thanks for the amazing role you played in Lauren’s life and for your example of strength, leadership and positivity. You raised a beautiful son who I have the honor to call son-in-law soon. I’m grateful for the memories we shared in becoming a new family and although short, they’re not forgotten. 

May you be at peace, remembered and cherished for your impeccable character, generosity and love that so many know you by.

You are one of the nicest people I will ever have the pleasure of knowing. You are always there to help out. You always went out of your way to bring a smile to everyone's faces. When you called the office, you greeted us with a "hello kiddo, how are you doing". Always a hug when you came to the office and a kind word. You will be so missed around our office, and I am sure many, many offices that you sold insurance to. You are truly the most wonderful person and I know you meant so much to so many and especially your family and friends.  Rest in peace Dave.

I’ve known Dave only a year and in that short time I realize how special he is.  Every time I saw him, he had a big smile.  He liked everybody and he would offer help to anyone that needed it.  He  will be missed!
