Diane R. Burke (nee Rothenberg) was born on June 17, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Albert and Willa (nee Schwarz) Rothenberg. She died Monday, September 25, 2017 at Silverado Lake Zurich Memory Care Community in Lake Zurich, Illinois.

Diane worked as a Kindergarten Teacher for 39 years with Park Ridge School District 64. She was a member and President of Park Ridge Education Association (IEA), the Region 12 Chairperson (IEA) and served on the Board of Directors of the IEA. She was an avid world traveler, especially enjoying Aruba, she filled her spare time with antiquing. Diane was also a child and education advocate.

Diane is survived by her former spouse, Barry Burke; Step Daughter, Kathleen A.(Michael) Sibigtroth; and Step Granddaughters, Genna Sibigtroth, and Megan Sibigtroth.

She was preceded in death by parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017, 11:00 am at Park Ridge Community Church, 100 S. Courtland, Park Ridge.
