

Dolores J. Dabrowski of Mt. Prospect was born February 24, 1929 in Chicago. She graduated from Schurz High School in 1947 before marrying her “love-at-first sight” Casimer. Dolores was a bookkeeper for many years with Milburn Brothers and Plote Construction. Dolores’ main passion in life was as a homemaker over her 63 years of marriage. Dolores contributed to her community as a volunteer with the Mt. Prospect Woman’s Club, the Mt. Prospect Homemakers’ Club, Women of the Moose and the VFW in Mt. Prospect.
Dolores enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, gardening, creating crafts and she was a true neighbor as well as Second Mother, Sister and Grandmother to many people. Dolores was a member of St. Raymond De Penafort Church for 59 years in her beloved hometown of Mt. Prospect. She was known for her sweet tooth, baking skills and ability to make all gifts look outstanding with her expert bow making skills.
Dolores was the beloved wife of Casimer J; loving mother of Pat (Ken) Krischke, Joe Dabrowski and Kathie (George) Pavin; cherished grandmother of Brad (Deanna) Krischke, Michael (Katherine) Pavin, Katie Krischke (fiancé John Zois) and Audrey Pavin; great grandmother of Carson and Juliet; dear sister of Margaret Zangrilli, the late Patricia Montague, Katie Lynch; and Aunt Lorrie to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 26 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lauterburg Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights and a funeral mass and book signing will take place at St. Raymond De Penafort Church, Elmhurst Road (Rt. 83) and Lincoln Streets, Mt. Prospect from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines IL. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
