

Dolores Morgan, age 79, of Mundelein, IL passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at Northwest Community Hospital. She lived a life full of love and faith as a cherished wife, sister, mother, grandmother, soon to be great-grandmother, aunt, and dear friend.
Dolores was born on October 11, 1946, to the late Fred and Catherine (Merrick) Borer in Dolton, IL. She was married for nearly 50 years to the late Tom Morgan. She is survived by her sister Sharon (Jim) Hoffman; and her children Mark (Ann) Morgan, Kerry (Dave) Hughes, Mary Kay (Chris) Wathen; grandchildren Julia (Connor) Ford, Amy Morgan, Tim Morgan, Nathan Hughes, Olivia Hughes, Nora Wathen, Jill Wathen; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters Marilyn (Bruce) Wells, Janine Borer, and Janice Borer.
Dolores was a dedicated mother and the loving wife of a deacon. Her loyalty and hard work were evident in her years of professional service at Quill Corporation. Dolores was an active member of several parishes including St. Mary (Buffalo Grove), St. James (Arlington Heights), St. Gilbert, and St. Mary of Annunciation. She was a beloved friend in the Grand Dominion community and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and Condell Hospital. Her involvement in the Christian Family Movement and as a Quest youth group leader touched many lives. Dolores had a passion for travel, gardening, reading, and kite flying, where she found joy in sharing these simple pleasures with those she loved.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
