Donald Alan Rogers passed away at the age of 78 on June 10th, 2023 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He was born on October 25th, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey to Donald and Margaret Rogers (nee Arnold).
He attended the University of Illinois and then the University of Colorado, receiving his master’s degree in education to become a teacher, and later an administrator. He married his beloved wife Marcia on September 21st, 1968. One of Donald’s favorite hobbies was to read about history.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marcia Rogers (nee Fish), his brother-in-law Larry (Jo Ellen) Fish and his sisters-in-law Pamela Lyon and Karen Fish, many cousins and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Thomas Fish.
Services for Donald will take place at a later date.
