Edith Herr was born on January 26, 1921 in Biwabik, Minnesota to Elof and Hilma nee (Stockey) Youngquist. She died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Lutheran Home Services.Mrs. Herr was a homemaker and member of the Arlington Heights VFW Ladies Auxiliary.Edith is survived by her children Karen Katzan, Allen and Mickey Herr and Diane (Alan) Freudenheim; her grandchildren Jodi Stevens, Shannon Zagroba, Kathleen Askin, Sean Herr, Danielle Kissick, Zachary Freudenheim, Sharon Cramblit, Stephen and Michael Fuller; several great grandchildren; her brother Gordon Youngquist.She is preceded in death by her husband Jacob and her parents.Visitation Friday, October 17, 2014 from 5:00 until time of service at 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.
