Edward G. Guska Of Arlington HeightsEdward G. Guska was born on March 31, 1928 in Chicago to William and Mary Guska. He died Monday, June 22, 2015 at Northwest Community Hospital Midwest Palliative CareCenter in Arlington Heights.Mr. Guska worked as a structural draftsman for Sargent and Lundy in Chicago for 39 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Edward was an avid Cubs and Bears Fan. He loved to spend time with Family and was loved by all. Edward is survived by his spouse Marie (nee Ganz) whom he married on October 23, 1954 in Chicago; sister-in-law, Millie Guska; brother-in-law, Marino (Jean) Ganz; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, LindaMarie Guska; his parents; siblings, Joseph Guska, Antoinette Szelung, Nettie Kubiak, Mary Dambek, and Virginia Kovacs. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. A private interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S.
